Rosenberg Lecture: Knowing Their Place? Women Artists in 18th-Century France

Presented as part of our Annual Fête, this talk will feature art historian Dr. Melissa Hyde speaking about women artists of 18th-century France. Dr. Hyde will highlight works of art from the Michael L. Rosenberg Collection at the DMA, with a focus on the careers of women artists such as Adélaïde Labille-Guiard, Anne Vallayer-Coster, and Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun.​
